My experience was very nice there it was my first to visit there. But all the workers I came across was very HELPFUL & FRIENDLY. I went to visit a friend 🧡. She seem to be well taking of & happy living there..

The nurses/cna’s are rude and lazy , I wouldn’t recommend this nursing home for an elderly loved one. Based on my experience, I had concerns about the quality of care and the overall environment. I believe seniors deserve compassionate, attentive, and respectful care, and I did not feel those standards were consistently met here.

Home like environment private rooms all with showers and toilets. Laundry service and three hot meals a day with extras for the asking. Gym for PT, OT well equipped and maintained. Very clean an always fresh gathering areas. Care givers are professional, observant of privacy and personal space with honestly caring nature. A culture of down home frendly living a great place for recovery or sustained living. My highest recommendations.

Our draw to this place was that the residence do not share rooms as they do in most nursing homes. They also only have about 12 residents in each unit, though my mom's only ever seamed to have 4 or 5 residents. This seams great except the problem is there is not really anything for them to do at all. My mother has Parkinson"s and is limited to a wheel chair, but she still needs something to do with her time. The facilities solution for my mother was to put her in a geriatric chair after she had several falls from her regular chair. With parkinson's, she also tends to hallucinate, and the stories she would come up with were crazy and concerning, The geriatric chair is basically a gurney on wheels. She was not able to more around by her self and every time I went in there she was sound asleep in the common area. They have no activities or games for them...ever, they basically put them, (there were a few being used in my mom's building) in these chairs so they don't have to deal with them. I honestly thought my mom was at deaths door, I did not realize was she literally being board to death. Her tv never worked in her room, despite numerous complaints,and the tv in the

My mother underwent a degree of OT at the cottages . . . Of course just like most institutions of health , they'll hardly consider side effects of the patients medicine My mother showed signs of extreme tiredness and was always sleeping - whether it be lying down or sitting in a wheelchair . The nurses as well as the therapist were puzzled as to why she was never alert as expected . After I explained to them the side effects of the medicine they were administering - they promptly understood and discontinued those few meds that were causing her weakness / tiredness and poor judgement . Of course The Cottages should be held harmless in this matter because the list of meds were apparently forwarded from the Baptist Health systems . The staffing is somewhat scarce - especially on weekends and as a result , your calls may not be answered (in the evening OR on weekends) As I sat in my mother's room one Sunday - practically all day - I noticed , my mother's meds were skipped or forgotten (on that particular weekend) . The Greenhouse Cottages are made up of approximately ten 12 room units and to my understanding there's usually just one nurse for the whole Cottage grounds . . . The
